St. Dominic Health Care Services (SDHCS) is a registered Community-Based Organization (BDC/CBO 4076 /2014 ) established in 2012 and based in Nakibizzi Zone, Njeru Municipality, Buikwe District, Uganda. We exist to improve the health and well-being of vulnerable communities by providing accessible, affordable, and quality healthcare services through integrated preventive, promotive, and curative approaches.
Over the years, SDHCS has grown into a trusted provider of maternal and child healthcare, HIV/AIDS prevention and care, immunization, family planning, nutrition support, and community outreach services. We work closely with communities, local leaders, healthcare providers, government agencies, and development partners to improve health outcomes and build healthier communities.

Our Team
SDHCS operates under a strong governance and management structure that ensures accountability, transparency, and effective service delivery. The organization is governed by a Board of Directors composed of 5 members and 2 ex-official members. Board members are elected during the Annual General Meeting (AGM), usually held in December. During the AGM, registered members—including clients, staff members, and interested community members who have fulfilled membership requirements—participate in electing board members upon term completion and advise on the future direction of the organization.
The day-to-day operations of St. Dominic Health Care Services (SDHCS) are led by the Executive Director, with support from programme, medical, social services, and finance personnel. The Executive Director is accountable to the Board of Directors, which provides governance, oversight, and strategic guidance to ensure that the organization achieves its mission and objectives.
Leadership & Management Team
Kalyesubula Brian — Executive Director
Provides overall leadership and management of the organization and is responsible for implementing the organization's mission, programmes, and strategic direction
Taitika Conrad — Director of Programmes, Monitoring & Evaluation
Coordinates programmes and supports monitoring, evaluation, reporting, and assessment of programme results
Nakato Agnes — Midwife / In-Charge, Maternal & Child Health
Leads maternal and child health services, including antenatal care, maternity services, postnatal care, and newborn care
Mulumba Henry — Finance Manager
Oversees financial management, budgeting, financial records, accountability, and reporting.
Otale Solomon — Social Services Manager
Coordinates social support services and community-based activities for vulnerable individuals, families, and communities.
Sabano Jalia — Midwife
Provides maternal and reproductive health services and supports the delivery of quality care to mothers and newborns.
Governance
The Board of Directors provides oversight and strategic guidance to SDHCS, while the management and programme team are responsible for the day-to-day implementation of the organization's activities
